Given the current circumstances, Church at the Park will NOT be held this year. We are in Phase one of the Massachusetts Reopening Plan and large gatherings will most likely not be allowed this summer. Churches are also currently planning and preparing to reopen under the new guidelines.
There are many ways we as the church can impact our community during this time. FHFC is looking into other ways to do that this summer within our community and we encourage churches to do the same. We may not have church at the park but we, the church, have the ability and responsibility to impact wherever we are.
We are praying for you and we are believing that the best is yet to come! Church at the Park will be back. We look forward to working with you again and serving our community.
Be well,

CHURCH AT THE PARK
Each
year in August, Father’s House Family Church, in conjunction with area churches, hosts a community outreach event called, “Church at the Park”. The event is held at Memorial Park, Somerset Ave in Taunton, MA., and runs from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. It is a FREE event and EVERYONE is welcome! We have had the privilege of serving anywhere from 1500-2600 people at past events.
The goal of Church at the Park is to simply share the love of Jesus with our community by meeting both the physical and spiritual needs of those who attend. Free clothing, groceries, school supplies, and lunch is distributed throughout the day. Past events have also featured entertainment from local churches, face painting, puppets, clowns, manicures, health screenings, back to school haircuts and more!
What makes Church at the Park successful is the unified effort of the churches within our community. Each church, regardless of denomination or affiliation, works together; contributing time, talents, and resources to make a positive impact beyond the four walls.
We are grateful to Mayor Thomas Hoye and each of our local city officials for their support of CAP each year. Additionally, we thank the Taunton Park & Rec Dept, the Taunton Police Department, The Taunton Board of Health, & the Taunton Municipal Lighting Plant for their outstanding assistance each year.
