The Holy Spirit is the Difference Maker

Jesus understood fully the condition the world was in when He came to earth and yet He decided to go back to Heaven after His resurrection and left us all alone, or did He?  No, we are not alone! Jesus completed His work, nothing was left undone. He made a way where there seemed to be no way and now relationship with God has been restored by our acceptance of His sacrifice on our behalf.
Jesus knew we would experience many challenges every day of our lives even as He did when He was on the earth. Jesus was well equipped to accomplish His assignment. The third person of the Godhead came upon Him when He was baptized in the river Jordan by John the Baptist. We know this person as the Holy Spirit.
Acts 10:38 (NKJV)
38 how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.
That moment was “The Difference Maker” in the Lords life and ministry. It was also the difference maker in the lives of His disciples.
Acts 2:1-4
1 When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. 2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. 3 Then there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of them. 4 And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speakwith other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
I want you to know today that if Jesus and the disciples needed the infilling of the Holy Spirit to live out their lives in power and accomplish their assignment on the earth we do also.
If you have never asked the Holy Spirit to fill you with Himself, do it today and let Him be the difference maker.
